How do I customize a template?

You can customize a template by directly typing into it.

Elements that should be customized, like service descriptions, payment terms, prices and deadlines, are identified by brackets and [UPPERCASE CHARACTERS].
 
Some customizable elements, such as [PRODUCT NAME], can appear repeatedly throughout a document. You can use the "Find and Replace All" function in your word processor to replace all instances of these elements with your custom information.
 
By using the "Auto-Fill Document" function (located at the bottom left-hand corner), you can automatically enter your contact information in all documents.

You may sometimes find that some clauses are too restrictive or that entire articles do not apply to your situation. These parts may be removed, however you must make sure that they do not affect the validity and structure (sequencing) of the entire agreement.
